The Adventurers Comic in colour!

Here is a selection of finished The Adventurers Comic pages coming soon to Bolt Comics Presents! What a journey it has been to get to this point and a lot of it has been recorded in this blog but it's time to change things up a bit and let the art do the talking now.

The Adventurers Issue 4

Below is a pencilled page from The Adventurers issue 4.

You can see my pencils are not as refined as some other artists. I've always inked my own work so perhaps I've never developed the habit of tightening my pencils to an extremely detailed point. As I can switch from pencils to inks as needed, fussy over the pencils just to get them "perfect" would not be a productive use of comic making time. However these pencils are much tighter than some other Adventurers pages that I've inked. 

Can even The Adventurers halt the destruction?

 

Why isn't there an inked version of this page I hear you ask? (Now I hear you ask: How can he hear me?) Weeeelll I haven't gotten around to inking it yet but rest assured it's on my "to do" list! I may post the inked version at a future date. Enjoy the teaser.

The Adventurers Issue 3 Launching at Comic Gong!

 
Issue 3 arrived a few weeks ago and looks great! Looking forward to having Issues 1, 2 and 3 to sell at Comic Gong on the 17th. It will be the first time Issue 3 is available for sale!

Issue 3 of The Adventurers.

I played with having multiple covers and was able to extend the size of my robot army! Mwahaha-- I mean-- how cool is that? Once again this Adventurers cover was beautifully coloured by my sister Cara. She'll also be at Comic Gong so be sure to tell her what a great job she is doing!

Someone asked me what my favourite page was. I think this may be it! It isn't the most detailed page or the prettiest from The Adventurers comic. The art is fairly simplistic but I'm very happy with how it tells the story.
